Melinda is the Parbery Performance Horses business manager, and in charge of the welfare of the performance horse team.

In between being Brett’s ‘eyes on the ground’, Mel gives lessons at Cedar Lodge and has a warm, positive and encouraging approach.

Riley is a talented rider for Parbery Performance Horses. He successfully competes several horses for clients.

Cedar Lodge is home to Parbery Performance Horses, in the Southern Highlands region of New South Wales.

With Melinda Parbery at the helm, Cedar Lodge houses around 20 dressage horses in work at any one time. Melinda keeps the property running like a well oiled machine and is in charge of all the horses’ welfare and daily management.

Cedar Lodge is 90 minutes south of Sydney and houses a 60x20m indoor dressage arena with a Soiltex fabric surface, kitchenette, large meeting/seminar space with fireplace, and an adjoining 2-bedroom apartment.

A outdoor dressage arena and a large grass show jumping arena is complete with a full show jump course, cavalettis and poles.

The horses stay comfortable in 15 stables with walk-in/walk-out day yards attached, and timber post and rail paddocks to ensure the greatest care for the horses.

Melinda and her team aim to create a horse-friendly, safe environment where their horses’ care and management as well as their training and fitness is of utmost importance.
